Originally from Australia I moved to Singapore in 2000 and lived and work there as an Art Director in Advertising to pay my rent. I also began my carrier as an artist there. In 2005 I moved to Tokyo to continue that carrier. After working hard and long on a series of works that carried on from Singapore I finally scrapped the project and started a fresh look that I now pursue and look towards exhibiting in 2009 in Japan.
In the past I worked on a large series of paintings dealing with personal emotions visualised through the use of avatars that were influenced by pop culture. Which I exhibited in Singapore at a retrospective of four years of work called 'Exhibit A'.
Since moving to Japan I'm more concerned with portrait images and studies of everyday people. where I not only try to record their current physical appearance but where they were and where they will be. In an attempt to capturing time and form in a single composition.
